Fall Has Fallen....
You know, just like Spring has Sprung! It'll catch on, just you wait!

Not that I ever really need a reason to bake, but we had a fall party for church yesterday. So I made a batch of my fall sugar cookies complete with my grandmas kool-aid frosting! There'd be more, but I burnt the last tray....oops! At least the dogs enjoyed the 'well done' cookies!

Chilli Fest 2009: West Virginia Edition
Friday night, we hosted Chilli Fest. This is an amazing event where everyone brings their best pot of chilli, and we chow down and play games! Chris' family has a chilli fest every year, and since we obviously can't make it this year, we decided to have our own out here!
Just some of the pots of chilli! yum!!
The girls all ready to play!

ResQ Bonfire
Chris and I have started volunteering in the church youth group, ResQ. We really love getting involved with the kids. Sunday was the annual bonfire. We had a great time getting to know the kids better, and of course, making hotdogs and smores!!
