Worlds of Fun - WV

Even though this Worlds of Fun doesn't compare to the Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, it still was pretty fun. It definitely kept us busy for a few hours.............6 to be exact. Here are some pictures below:

Miniature Golf - Each hole represented a different country.

On the Detonator ride

Slip and Slide Fun!!

The weather in Missouri was hot and humid while I was there! Elijah and I decided that we would hit the water park.....however we discovered the water park was closed because they didn't have any electricity due to all the storms we had the day before. So instead, we made our own water park in my back yard! We got a slip and slide and water balloons and had a blast!!
Taking a break for a Jolly Rancher popsicle!

Goofy face!

He fell in a mud puddle while trying to walk up the slip and slide!

Camp Rainbow

As most of you know, my main reason for travelling back to Mo. was for Camp Rainbow. Camp Rainbow is one of my biggest passions. I look forward to it all year! I love being able to connect with the campers and make each of them feel special and important, if only for a few days! Here's a few pictures of the fun!

Abby and Lauren making camp tshirts on our first night!

Me and Ashley at the dance....and Derek creeping in the picture!

Ethan and Christie dancing!

Travis and I tie-dying his t-shirt....which turned out suprisingly nice!

Sherrece and I at the dance. She's definately one of my favorite campers, and she borrowed my clothes and jewelry for the dance!!

For more pictures of all the fun check out the Camp Rainbow Blog!

Victory Dance!!

I realize I'm really behind on blogging....I blame a combination of a lack of internet access and spending a week at Camp Rainbow. I had an awesome week at Camp (more on that later!) I was also able to spend a good amount of time with our family in Mo, but it went be so fast! Now, I've moved on to colorado and we're anxiously awaiting Baby Hansel! I'll be here for two weeks, then back to West Virginia!! I thought I'd leave you with a video of Lij's Wii victory dance!! We spent plenty of time playing wii with Diego, and he go quite good!

Sunday Night Fun

Last night we volunteered to watch our friends baby boys while they were at a church meeting. I love these boys so much!! I've watched them several times, but this was the first time Chris got to watch them with me!
Chris and Roman chilling out!
Roman passed out on me in the lazy boy!

Chris with both Lyric and Roman....and Lyric none too happy about the situation! This picture cracks me up!!
It was a pretty easy night. These boys are such great babies!

Gardening Take 2

Remember this post? Well last year I decided to plant a garden with spinach, cucmbers, watermenlon, and tomatos. That was an epic fail! It ended up being completely overgrown when I was out of town and I finally gave up and mowed it all over. So this year I decided to take a more modest approach to gardening. Instead of planting a ton of seeds; I bought one tomato plant and one orange pepper plant.
I have them on the porch so I don't have to weed them. If these work out, then next year I'll buy a bunch and try a bigger garden again! Things are looking good so far! Today I saw 3 baby tomatos starting!!
