Liu Family Updates

We've had a lot going on in the last few months....not that you could tell from my blogging!! My only New Years resolution was to blog much more than I did last year...yikes!! I'm not really off to a good start, so hopefully I can adjust that! Any-who....I thought I would update you on all our goings on:

1. For those of you confused, we are back in West Virginia now. We spent three weeks in Missouri and loved every minute we had with our families there!

2. While in Missouri we found a great home for Marathon. A young couple who love to run took her. She's perfect for them, and we couldn't be happier. We're just praying she'll continue to adjust well. We moved her there last Sunday, and I miss her terribly, but I know it's best for everyone.

3. For those of you still worried about Emma; she's made a full recovery. She's completely back to her old self. Thank you for everyone who prayed!

3. The project Chris was on got officially shut down at the end of February. They've had him some short term stuff to work on, but that's all done now. We're looking for a title company in this area so we can stay here in WV a little longer. We've been really happy with the area and people, and would rather not have to move again for a while.

4. I am so happy summer/spring is here!! I'm loving the sun and warmer temps that come with it!

Wii Family Fun!

While in Missouri, we made time for some Wii! Chris' parents got a wii and we spent quite a lot of time mastering the wii sports resorts game, and I must say, I am quite a bowler with a record of 200 (if only that showed my actual bowling ability)!! We also spent time mastering wii fit at my mom's house, but somehow I didn't manage to take any pictures of that! Here's a few of our wii shenanigans on Easter night!

3 Weeks Away.....

We spent 3 weeks in Missouri.....and our lawn showed it!!

It was as tall as our knees....notice Emma is on the right!

Belated Easter Post

I know it's a little late, but I figured I'd get caught up and post a few Easter pictures! It was great to be home with the family for Easter, especially since we hadn't planned on it!

Baby Tre

Chris' cousin had a baby in February. We had been bummed that we wouldn't be able to meet him until this summer, but our impromptu trip has allowed us to meet him much sooner! Chris' cousin, Jason, was really more of a brother growing up so it's super fun for Chris to have another nephew!

4 Coffees + 1 Monster + 2.5 tanks of gas + 14 hour drive = one awesome suprise!

Chris and I have been talking about taking a quick vacation somewhere while he's got a little break from work. We've also talked about going home for a weekend visit. We were talking about it Wednesday and decided this week is the perfect time for it! So we packed quick and headed off the next day to Missouri! We managed to keep it a complete secret from everyone! We spent all day Friday running around town and popping in on our families at work and home! It was so fun to see their reactions-- tears, shock, and awe! So, we're officially in Missouri and enjoying our family for a week or so!
