Denver Zoo

The weather was beautiful this weekend so we decided to get out and enjoy it! We headed out Saturday to explore the Denver Zoo, and it couldn't have been a more perfect day for it!

 

 Asher really enjoyed watching all the fish

 He made it about halfway through the the the zoo before he needed a nap, and he napped clear through the rest of the zoo!

Boulder Canyon

We're getting all settled in here in Colorado. I'm finally starting to feel on top of it....and I'm loving it here. Last weekend we headed to Boulder Canyon with our friends. (Did I mention I now live 45 minutes from my best friend??) It was a little chilly, but still a great day!

9 Month/ Easter Pictures

We're getting settled in and learning the area. I managed to get out and about today and get Asher's 9 month/ Easter pics done today (yes, I do realize he's 10 months, but we just moved across the country so pretend with me that I did it on time). Today was a bit of a disaster....I had hoped to get all kinds of areas done, but all I managed was to get pictures! However, they did turn out pretty good!

I know I say it a lot, but I really can not believe he is 10 months already!! This was a pretty huge month for him. He had a ton of milestones! His personality is so fun and big. He's so happy and giggly. He loves to say 'what are you doing?' to which he responds by crawling away as fast as he possibly can! We spent the last month in Missouri hanging with the fam. He is doing great now  with letting other people hold him. Here's a few other facts on Asher:
-He now has 2 teeth on the bottom
-He cruises around everything and is working on standing unassisted
-He slept through the night 3 times while we were in Missouri!! (followed by a week of barely sleeping)
-He adores his cousin Elijah and loves to wrestle with him all over the floor
-He had his first haircut and has not been called a girl since!
-He now takes his blanky out of bed after naps and snuggles it for a while

THE Haircut

That's right! We. Cut. His. Hair. Chris decided it was time. Since we're in missouri and his sister is a beautician, and Asher looks like a girl; he had a point. We were supposed to cut it Monday, but I came up with a great excuse to cancel! However, today, I was told that I'm out of excuses!

He actually did really well. The tears only came at the end when he was just done and wanted to be elsewhere. I didn't manage to get a great after picture of his new dew on my camera. I'll try to post one from my phone soon. He looks so handsome, but so much like a toddler!! (hence, the reason I was avoiding it!!)
