All in all, our boys did wonderfully!! Asher had a rough day after the trip--just fussy and worn out, but I can not complain!! This boy is a traveler!

Asher's Birthday: Round 1

Well, it happened-my baby turned 1 today!! It doesn't seem possible that I am the mom of a toddler now! I think he had a great day, filled with fun! Allison and Elijah are here to celebrate. Asher thinks Elijah is the funniest person ever, so our days have been pretty entertaining. Here's some pics of his big day:

 Oh, and yes, he is a walking maniac now!! He does 6-10 steps easily now!!

 He loved the cup cake part of the party!! He really loved the fact that we all stood around him watching and waiting while he chowed down--he's a bit of a ham!

We had a great time celebrating with our friends and family here!! We're looking forward to another celebration next month with all the rest of our friends and family at home!!

Chalk Festival

Yesterday we headed out to the Chalk Festival and were not disappointed! These were some seriously talented artists!! Here's a few pics of the artwork:

 It was a pretty hot day, but it was perfect to wander all the chalk drawings! Obviously, Asher was pretty worn out by the end!

We had a fantastic day! (Aside from the fact that we didn't manage to find Dick Van Dyke to help us jump into the drawings....) Like I said in my last post.....Seriously love that we live in such a great area with so much to do!!

Helloooo Summer!!

I have no idea where this year has gone! I can't believe it's already June and my baby will be one this week!! We have had beautiful weather lately!! So, we've been outside everyday enjoying it! Here are some pics from a few of our activities this past week!

 We discovered a great park, complete with a sprinkler area! I love this because I don't have to worry about Asher diving under water and trying to chase the big kids into the deep end!

 

I started my Saturday with a quick 5k. It was one of my more favorite races....just a great environment and awesome booths afterwards.

 We hit a farmers market and Chris found watermelon! Also, enjoying my free beer from my run! ha!

We then went to a friend's work and swam some more!

We're absolutely loving living in Colorado!! There's always something to do, and most of it is outdoors; which suits us just fine!!
